THORACAL LIGAMENTUM FLAVUM OSSIFICATION CAUSING MYELOPATHY

Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Kliniği, İstanbul Spinal canal stenosis in the thoracic region caused by calcification of ligamentum flavum and resulting myelopathy, radiculopathy and neurogenic claudication are considerably rare. A case of myelopathy due to ligamentum flavum calcification at thoracal 9-10 level in a female patient aged 43 is reported with computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings, and discussed in the light of the literature.
