Symptomatic patients can sometimes be seen but they are often diagnosed incidentally. There is no consensus about the treatment in the literature. We present five symptomatic cases and a review of the relevant literature. Three adult female patients with quadrigeminal lipomas and one pediatric and one adult patient with pericallosal lipoma presenting with headache are presented. Surgical intervention was not planned for four cases and they were treated conservatively. Surgical intervention was planned for the patient who had an additional tumor with pericallosal lipoma however, the patient refused surgery. Lipomas are benign lesions that rarely cause symptoms. They can easily be diagnosed with computerized tomography and magnetic resonance imaging characteristics. They should be treated conservatively if no neurological sign exists. Decompression should be aimed due to the diff iculty of total resection in patients who require surgery. Anahtar Kelimeler : Brain, Computed tomography, Lipoma, Magnetic resonance imaging, Treatment
