1Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi, Meram Tıp Fakültesi, Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, Konya, Türkiye2Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi, Meram Tıp Fakültesi, Patoloji Anabilim Dalı, Konya, Türkiye Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common and malignant form of the glial tumors. GBMs constitute 50% of glial tumors and 10-15% of all intracranial tumors. GBM often seen at the supratentorial region, but rarely can be seen in the posterior fossa. Although there have been several reports about cerebellar GBM, epithelioid type of GBM in posterior fossa is very rare. In this paper, we report a 50-year-old man who presented with headache, disequilibrium and gait disturbance. The patient was operated for the cerebellar mass lesion which was histopathologically diagnosed as epithelioid GBM. The neurosurgeons should consider epithelioid GBM in the differential diagnosis of posterior fossa tumors along with the metastatic tumors.
