Diffuse and focal tumors were classified and new treatment modalities were described. There is no significant change in the treatment process of the diffuse intrinsic pontin gliomas and the prognosis is still poor. For the focal brainstem tumors, developing microsurgical procedures and experiencing neurosurgeons began to end up with very good results.
