The tumor resembled a meningioma both preoperatively and at surgery. The tumor was removed completely. The patient was not applied postoperative radiotherapy. After a follow-up period of ten months, the patient had not developed a local recurrence or systemic myelomatosis. Major considerations in the differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the solitary plasmacytoma of the calvarium are discussed.
