1Hacettepe Üniversitesi İç Hastalıkları A.B.D., Endokrinoloji Bilim Dalı, Ankara2Hacettepe Üniversitesi Nöroşirürji A.B.D, Ankara The clinical, biochemical, and radiographic features of ACTH-dependent hypercortisolism (Cushing's disease) are often indistinguishable from those of ectopic ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome. Bilateral inferior petrosal sinus ACTH sampling with CRH stimulation is a useful test for differential diagnosis and preoperative location of pituitary microadenomas. This report presents a patient with Cushing's disease diagnosed by inferior petrosal sinus sampling and CRH stimulation, and treated surgically.
