3Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Radyoloji Anabilim Dalı, Sivas, Türkiye The tigroid pattern of the white matter has been described in some disease in literature resulting from normal white-matter signal intensity within the demyelinated white matter. We report this appearance in a 44-year-old, right-handed male patient with a known medical history of Arnold Chiari malformation and shunt operation presented to our with headache and drop attacks and his cranial MRI studies revealed a striking lesion in body and isthmus parts of the corpus callosum. The lesion was limited to corpus callosum. Possible cause of this appearance in our case is ischemia with subsequent demyelination because of severe stretching of hydrocephalus or mechanic compression of falx cerebri to the corpus callosum.
