Bilateral epidural hematomas are associated with high mortality and occur very rarely. Among 135 cases of operated epidural hematomas during past 4 years in our hospital, we found only one case that developed bilateral epidural hematoma. Bilateral epidural hematoma that developed after a hard object fell down on the head of a 48-year-old male is presented,. The first symptoms were respiratory depression and confusion. The patient was operated urgently and the bilateral epidural hematoma was evacuated. The operation was uneventful and the patient was discharged without any neurological deficit. Bilateral craniotomies and removal of the epidural hematomas contributed to obtaining a good result in this patient. Management must be as quickly as possible in order to reduce morbidity and mortality. Anahtar Kelimeler : Hematoma, Epidural, Trauma
