Neural fibrolipoma, is a rare benign neoplasm which affect mostly median nerve and is a rare reason of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). On neural fibrolipoma, proliferation of mature adipocytes and fibrous tissue within the peripheral nerves causing enlargement of the affected nerve. Thirty-three years old female patient applied to our clinic because of pain and numbness on her left hand. After physical examination and electroneuromyography, she was diagnosed as CTS and transvers carpal cannal release operation was performed. During operation fibrofat tissue originating from median nerve was seen in carpal canal. After pathology examination, mass was reported as neural fibrolipoma. One of CTS reason is neural fibrolipom of median nerve and it is realized mostly during operation. Because of the total excision of the mass cause neurological deficit, transvers carpal cannal release is enough for improvement of symptoms.
