Posterior fossa comprises from tentorial incisura to the foramen magnum. Vascular supply of the posterior fossa is provided by vertebral and basilary arteries and their branches. There are 3 main approaches to this fossa; Median suboccipital, paramedian suboccipital and retrosigmoid (retroauricular) approaches. In this review, we tried to show these 3 approaches by a cadaver study. Anahtar Kelimeler : Posterior fossa, Median approach, Paramedian approach, Retrosigmoid approach
