1Hitit Üniversitesi Erol Olçok Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, Çorum, Türkiye Spinal gliomas account for 20% of all spinal primary tumors and are very rare within neoplasms of the central nervous system. These tumors share various features with cerebral gliomas. They share the same histopathological classification as gliomas of cerebral hemispheres such as astrocytoma and ependymoma. Determination of tumor grade is useful in predicting clinical progression. Spinal gliomas are graded according to the World Health Organization (WHO) criteria used in cerebral gliomas, which is a strong prognostic indicator. Due to its rarity, there are no studies in the literature on large patient series in the adult or pediatric population. Therefore, there is no clear consensus about treatment decision (radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or surgery) and there is no clear consensus on prognosis. In line with this information, we aimed to review the existing literature on this subject. Anahtar Kelimeler : Spinal, Glioma, Cord
