Spinal trauma is rarely seen in children compared to adults, and the follow-up and treatment differ in this age group due to the approach to the growing spine and the developing anatomy. Traffic accidents and sports injuries are the most common causes. In childhood, cervical spine injuries and spinal cord injury without radiological abnormalities are observed more frequently than in adult patients. Magnetic resonance imaging is the gold standard in the evaluation of developing connective tissue. Evaluation of the growing spine presents some difficulties. There is no consensus on some treatment modalities. The first choice for treatment in the developing spine is often conservative treatment. When these treatments fail, surgical methods are used. The aim of this review is to reveal the diagnosis and treatment of childhood spinal injuries and the differences with adults. Anahtar Kelimeler : Pediatric, SCIWORET, Spinal trauma
