The craniocervical junction is a region where a wide variety of fractures and deformities occur under the influence of many force vectors because of its complex anatomy and unique biomechanical properties. The isolated fractures are generally the major group that have specific treatment criteria via the determination of subclassification. However, different combinations of rare unclassified fractures are also observed in this region. Although these fractures are less common than isolated fractures, and have more unsatisfactory results, there are no treatment strategies under a known specific consensus modality. Our aim is to examine the treatment approaches of these unclassified fracture combinations that are less common than the isolated ones by reviewing the current literature and to develop a management plan.
