Three dimensional printing technologies are making important contributions to neurosurgery education and practice as well as making important contributions in many fields today. The models obtained with this technology in surgical planning and education constitute the pre-patient education step in education, shorten the operation time and reduce the risk of complications. Three dimensional printers can produce products suitable for the intended job by processing different materials with different technologies. 3D printers, with the appropriate material, allow the texture of the product to be made suitable for the organ or tissue to be simulated. Models produced with this method are used both in education and in preoperative evaluation. Their use is increasing in cerebrovascular cases, neurooncology, skull base surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, and spinal surgery. As a result, it is considered to be a useful technology in neurosurgery education, in learning the necessary routines before the training step on the patient, and in shortening the operation time and reducing the risk of complications by using it in the surgical planning process.
