Cervical degenerative pathologies are diseases that we encounter frequently with advancing age and constitute a large part of our daily surgical practice. Cervical spine surgery has many complications specific to this region, and can have serious consequences. It is possible to group these complications as pre-surgical and anesthesia-related complications, those related to the patient"s position, and those directly related to surgery. Complications associated with surgery are complications related to the instrumentation or graft, hematoma, infection, and late complications (instrument failure, late organ injuries due to the instrumentation or graft, graft pseudoarthrosis and collapse, deformity development, adjacent segment disease) due to the neighborhood of this region with anatomical structures. Our aim is to review the complications associated with surgery and the coping methods. Anahtar Kelimeler : Cervical spine, Surgery, Complication
