In this study, tbe classification of tumors, determination of the relationship between a tumor and a ''grade'' on the cell culture, prepared from the various human brain tumors are planned and using these findings about intermediate filaments to assist the pathological diagnosis is aimed.

In conclusion, GFAP and NF nonspecific fluorescence staining was not seen on control group. Negative fluorescence staining was observed in various neoplasms (neurinoma, non-Hodgin lenfoma, papillary adenocarcinoma) which were not glial tumors. Positive fluorescence staining was observed in various type of glial tumors.

Positive reaction against NF antibody was not seen on the tumors which are being examined Anahtar Kelimeler : In vitro, human brain tumors, Glial fibrillary acidic protein, neurofilament
