İstanbul Üniversitesi, İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, İstanbul Induced dynamic proptosis in a patient with an intact bony orbit, is due to venous pathologies, most probably to an orbital varix. Dynamic proptosis is the most common symptom. If the varix is complicated by thrombosis of hemorrhage, ophthalmoplegia and visual disturbances accompany. Diagnosis is easy with the modern imaging facilities. Treatment depends on the degree of proptosis, ocular findings, pain and progression of the disease. Two patients with orbital varices are presented; clinical. neuroradiological features and treatment principles are discussed. Anahtar Kelimeler : Orbital Varix, Proptosis
