POSTERIOR FUSION OF ATLANTOAXIAL DISLOCATION: AN ANALYSIS OF 4 CASES

K.T.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, Trabzon Four patients underwent Cl-2 posterior wiring and fusion procedures over a 2-year period for traumatic Cl-2 fractures. Atlantoaxial arthrodesis was achieved by sublaminar wire at Cl. an iliac graft positioned between the posterior arches of Cl and C2 and held in place by securing wire around the base of the spinous process of the axis.
