Radiation-induced delayed brain injury is a welldocumented complication of both standard external beam radiation and interstitial brachytherapy. Cerebral necrosis following radiotherapy for extracerebral neoplasms present in a more benign fashion and aggressive therapy of this disorder is not warranted. In this report, we present a case who received a total of 9400 cGy external beam therapy for an extracerebral lesion within 3 years and presented with symptoms of increased intracranial pressure. Corticosteroid therapy was given and intracranial pressure monitorisation was performed. The clinical outcome, radiological findings, and management protocols are discussed with review of the literature. Anahtar Kelimeler : Brain, radionecrosis, radiotherapy
