İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Radyodiagnostik Anabilim Dalı, Kocamustafapaşa/İstanbul In this study, an intracranial mycotic aneurysm treated by endovascularly route using liquid embolic agent has been reported. The mycotic aneurysm angular branch of the middle cerebral artery which was the cause of intracranial hematoma, has been catheterized by using microcatheter-microguidewire combination. The proximal segment of the aneurysm and the parent artery was closed down by "bubble" technique with cyanoacrylate. Control anjiography thereafter demonsrated that the distal portion of the occluded artery was oposified retrogradely and there was no filling of the aneurysm. Located deep and distaly mycotic aneurysms m intracranial, especially in which surgery is difficult, endovascular approach should be choice of treatment.
