Neurocutaneous melanosis is a rare congenital syndrome characterised by large or numerous congenital pigmented nevi and excessive proliferation of melanincontaining cells in the leptomeninges. Adult cases are very rare. Therefore these two cases were presented and the literature was reviewed. A 20 year-old male patient had a intracranial mass in the left temporoparietal region. He had two congenital nevi on back and a small nevüs on the right thigh posterior. A 45 year-old male patient had a intracranial tumoral mass in the right frontal region and two congenital nevi on the left lumbal region and left food. Both of them were treated with surgical resection followed by external radiotherapy, combined biochemotherapy and hormonal therapy.

The incidence of intracranial malignant melanoma in neurocutaneous melanosis is remarkable. A t present there is no curative treatment. Radiotherapy is the most frequently used treatment for brain malignant melanomas. The combination of chemotherapy with hormonal therapy yields further improvement.
