Dissecting Aneurysms of Vertebral Artery

Dissecting vertebral artery aneurysms are rarely seen. Dissecting vertebral artery aneurysms can present a clinical table as subarachnoid hemorrhage or the ischemia of brain stem according to the affected layer of vessels. Dissecting vertebral artery aneurysms have high risk of mortality and morbidity if they are not treated. Surgical methods like proximal clipping, trapping and wrapping or endovascular treatments can be choosen. In this report, we present five dissecting vertebral artery aneurysm cases who admitted to our hospital with subarachnoid hemorrhage.
