INTRACRANIAL ATYPICAL MENINGIOMAS

Başkent Üniversitesi Nöroşirürji A.B.D., Ankara According to the World Health Organization (WHO) classification of tumors of the central nervous system, atypical meningiomas are a transitional group between the benign and malignant meningiomas. Since there are no clear-cut features that distinguish the three types of meningioma it is necessary to consider many traits and characteristics when diagnosing and locating these tumors on the continium for this form of neoplasia.
