Intracranial lipomas are rare lipoid tissue tumors. An interhemispheric lipoma with subcutaneous extracranial extension was detected in a l3-year-old girl. She also had frontal dysraphism and agenesis of the corpus callosum. No neurologic manifestations were found except for mental retardation. Surgery was planned only for cosmetic purposes and the subcutaneous extension of the lipoma was totally excised and cranioplasty was performed. No complications were encountered during a follow-up period of six months.
