Coursing and relation to the anterior inferior cerebellar artery of the abducens nerve after exiting from the brainstem are important for surgery of this region. There is no study in the literature that shows the relations of the abducens nerve and anterior inferior cerebellar artery can be asymmetric. It is reported that the nervus abducens courses over the anterior inferior cerebellar artery. Nervus abducens is one of the two most common bilateral affected cranial nerves. It is evidenced that he neurinoma could develop from the sixth nerve and this neurinoma can compress the anterior inferior cerebellar artery. Wide cadaveric studies are needed to true frequency of this asymmetrism. Anahtar Kelimeler : Anatomy, Nervus abducens, Sixth nerve, Anterior inferior cerebellar artery
