⁵Başkent Üniversitesi Radyoloji Anabilim Dalı Ankara, Türkiye Sacral agenesis is an aplastic vertebrae anomaly which is grouped under the family of caudal regression syndrome affecting lumbar and occasionally lower thoracal spinal segments. It is a very rare congenital anomaly in which gastrointesinal and genitourinary system malformations accompany the sacral or lumbosacral agenesis. Although, various congenital heart diseases could be observed in this disease, dextrocardia rarely develops. Early treatment of this patients is very important and recovery of the neurological symptoms related to the urgent interventions. In this report, we described a patient followed up for hydronephrosis with an unknown etiology and later diagnosed as tethered cord syndrome due to sacral agenesis associated with dextrocardia.
