Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Patoloji Anabilim Dalı, Ankara, Türkiye The pituitary gland can be involved in cysts, inflammatory disorders or neoplasms originating from non-hypohyseal cells. Most of these lesions radiologically mimic an adenoma but are usually easy to diagnose with histopathology findings.
