Erciyes Üniversitesi,Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, Kayseri, Türkiye Although the sellar region is a very small structure, the differential diagnosis of the lesions is important due to differences in their treatment. The neurohypophysis and infundibulum structure is different from that of the adenohypophysis. The neurohypophysis ends in a bundle of axons at the back of the adenohypophysis. The infundibulum consists of a stalk and pars tuberalis. Neurohypophysis and infundibulum lesions are similar. Lesions of this region can be observed in three categories: developmental and anatomical lesions, infectious and inflammatory lesions, and tumors and tumor like lesions. We present some rare lesions of the neurohypophysis and stalk with the clinical features and radiological and histopathological signs.
