Although pituitary adenomas are seen often, many neoplastic, infectious, inflammatory, developmental and vascular lesions can also be located in the sellar and parasellar region. These lesions often present with hormonal disorders, visual disturbances, and a wide variety of neurological findings. The diagnosis of these lesions requires endocrine, ophthalmic and neurological examination together with advanced imaging methods. Magnetic resonance imaging provides elaboration of sellar and parasellar lesions and is the current gold standard imaging method. Computed tomography allows for evaluation of bony involvement of the lesions and also the general bony anatomy of the sellar region. Anahtar Kelimeler : Sellar region, Parasellar region, Rare lesions
