³Şırnak Asker Hastanesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Kliniği, Şırnak, Türkiye Percutaneous laser nucleoplasty and epiduroscopy-guided annuloplasty, which have varying degrees of complications, can be performed for the treatment of protruding lumbar disc herniation that fails to respond medical or physical therapy. A 39-year-old female patient presented to our clinic with low back pain, both leg pain and decrease in urinary sensation. Epiduroscopically-guided annuloplasty under local anesthesia had been performed to the patient one month ago at a private center for to L5-S1 midline protrusion. L5-S1 was sequestrated, and a downmigrated disc fragment appeared on the emergency lumbar magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The aim of this case report is to present a complication of this procedure which is presented with cauda equina syndrome and sequestrated disc herniation.
