¹Ege Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, İzmir, Türkiye Medulloblastomas are primary malignant embryonal tumours of the central nervous system.They are the most common in childhood and mostly found in posterior fossa. Patients are currently classified as being either standard or high risk in order to stratify treatment. Treatment of medulloblastoma include combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
