Several etiological factors are reported. In some cases, this synostosis may be associated with syndromes. Clinically, trigonocephaly cases may present with mental developmental and behavioral problems. Early surgical treatment is recommended. Preoperative evaluation should be performed in detail. All patients should be evaluated by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a pediatric neurosurgeon, pediatric hematologist, and a neuroanesthesiologist. Three-dimensional computed tomography is the gold standard radiological method for preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up. The main purpose of the surgical procedures is creating enough space for brain development. Calvarial remodeling that includes fronto-orbital advancement should be performed as the surgical treatment as it provides successful results.
