Imaging methods are critical for the evaluation and treatment of patients with cerebral aneurysms. Computerized tomography angiography (CTA), magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) are used for the neuroimaging of cerebral aneurysms. Each neuroimaging technique has its own strengths and weaknesses and can benefit from recent developments. CTA is a less invasive, faster, easier, and cheaper method of detecting aneurysm localization and morphology. The overlap between the clinical and radiological images of the aneurysm case, and the absence of a conflict in the relationship between the aneurysm and the peripheral vascular structures may be the first diagnostic modality in CTA aneurysm surgery.
