He went to Germany after graduation from Military School of Medicine. He was professor of orthopaedics and professor of surgery in the Second Department of Surgery in Darulfunun School of Medicine between 1909 and 1933. Beside of eight scientific papers, he wrote a surgery book, “Ameliyat-ı cerrahiye”, which contained many neurosurgery related chapters.
