Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, Trabzon The authors report a series of 20 patients with acute epidural hematomas (EDH) that were not evacuated surgically. These EDH were diagnosed within first 6 hours after injury and were followed by serial CT scanning. All patients showed resolution of the hematoma on CT scanning over a period of 2 to 6 weeks.
