THORACAL LIGAMENTUM FLAVUM OSSIFICATION CAUSING MYELOPATHY

Spinal canal stenosis in the thoracic region caused by calcification of ligamentum flavum and resulting myelopathy, radiculopathy and neurogenic claudication are considerably rare. A case of myelopathy due to ligamentum flavum calcification at thoracal 9-10 level in a female patient aged 43 is reported with computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings, and discussed in the light of the literature.
