SSK Okmeydanı Eğitim Hastanesi, Nöroşirürji Kliniği, İstanbul Spinal epidural lipomatosis (SEL) develops from excessive growth of epidural fat tissue and causes spinal cord compression. Most of these cases are using steroid therapy or diagnosed as endogenous Cushing Syndrome CS. Idiopatic SEL is seen rarely.
