Abdominal pseudocyst is an unusual complication of ventriculoperitoneal shunts. It is believed that, the intraabdominal cysts develope secondary to intraperitoneal inflammatory process. In this study, we report a 26-year-old female patient in which the diagnosis of abdominal pseudocyst was made with ultrasonography and computed tomography and discussed the clinical, neurologic and radiologic findings. The high protein level in the pseudocyst has been thought aggravated the abdominal complaints and ultrasonography guided drainage facilitated healing.
