Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Nöroşirürji A.B.D. 163 patients were reviewed who had been operated on transsphenoidal route in Ankara University Medical School Neurosurgery Department between January 1990 and October 1998. In 12 patients there were rhinorrhea postoperatively. 9 patients managed with spinal taps, and 3 patients managed with spinal drainage. In two patients, in whom rhinorrhea persisted even with spinal taps, were reoperated on 4th and 51h postoperative days.
