However, management of acute postoperative pain after craniotomy remains suboptimal: up to 60% of patients report moderate to extreme pain following neurosurgery. Neurosurgeons and neuroanesthetics must try to reduce the postoperative pain, which may induce postoperative hypertension, restlessness.
