Significant number of cases are lost due to infections, electrolyte imbalance, and massive hemorrhage. Additionally cerebral tissue may rarely be hernia from this defect. In this report, we present a 10-month old case who had cerebral tissue hernia from a wide aplasia area. Trauma tears the non-resistant epithelialized tissue, afterwards the increased intracranial pressure with cerebral edema causes progression of hernia. In our case, epileptic and crying attacks were the other factors that caused progression of cerebral hernia. During the surgical treatment, the hernia cerebral tissue was removed, and it was relocated into the intracranial space. Dural defect was closed with abdominal fascia.
