1,3,5Göztepe E.A.H, Anesteziyoloji ve Reanimasyon, İstanbul2,4,6Göztepe E.A.H, Nöroşirürji, İstanbul Subdural hematomas frequently result from ruptured bridge veins whereas a small percentage are originate from small cortical arteries. As the duration of the hematoma increases, the density also decreases. The stage of hematomas are evaluated in four groups. 1- Hyperacute (first 24 hours), 2- Acute (1-3 days), 3- Subacute (3-14 days), 4- Chronic (after 14 days). Headache is seen in 11% of patients after dura puncture which is performed by 22G and 24G spinal needles. Chronic subdural hematoma is a rare but a substantial complication which may occur after dura puncture. Its diagnosis is difficult because it is hard to differentiate the clinical scenario from post dura puncture headache. In this case, we aimed to underline the possibility of intracranial subdural hematoma occurence after spinal anaesthesia.
