Spinal infections, use of graft, reoperations, malignancy, chemoterapy and radiotherapy exposure or foreign bodies can present a more complicated condition. When present treatment modalities fail, and treatment tends to take a long time, subsidiary treatment methods can be applied within the confines of ethical rules and scientific rationalization. Aim of this study is to explain the simple and basic principles of hyperbaric oxygen therapy which is one of the subsidiary treatment methods.
