1Adana Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Nöroşirürji Kliniği, Seyhan, Adana, Türkiye2,3Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Nöroşirürji AD, Bolu, Türkiye Epidermoid tumours are uncommon, benign, congenital and slow-growing lesions. They may often reach a giant size without producing any neurological deficits. Intradiploic epidermoid tumours are only 0.25% of all intracranial tumours. During embryonic process, these tumours are derived from ectodermal remnants which located within the cranial bones. Complete removal of tumour with its capsule provides the patient a good long-term survive. We report a 27-year-old man who admitted to our clinic with the complaints of head-ache and ataxia. After radiological assessment, a giant intradiploic epidermoid tumour of the occipital bone was removed completely. Intradiploic epidermoid cyst is a very rare tumour; the authors reviewed this very rare entity under the scope of the literature.
