Cauda Equina Syndrome Developing after Transverse Fracture of Sacrum: Case Report

Ongoing neurological deficit was presented in the leg. She could not beat gravity below the knee. Gayta and urine control could not be done. Previous and new in X-rays were not found any pathology. And Standard lumbar tomography was not found pathology. Then taken cranial, cervical and lumbar MR images are resulting from the clinical causes of a sacral fracture and attached to it were to occur cauda equina syndrome. Cases of trauma surgery could be made at the end of Month 1. The channel decompression was performed with laminectomy that posterior stabilization will not disrupt in size. The Neurological deficits improved quickly after surgical decompression and completely disappeared. We observed that this case's does not create stability problems in the spine, as a result of the six-month follow-up.
