Isolated Full Taste Sensation Loss after Head Trauma

Taste and smell sensation loses after head traumas are generally traced together and one or several of the tastes like sweet, hot, acid and salty
can decrease or change. The lesions occured after the trauma causes decrease at sharpness of smell and taste sensations and sense distortion
beside. These are taste disorders lige ageusia, dysgeusia, cacogeusia, phantogeusia, heterogeusia and smell disorders like hyposmia, anosmia,
dysosmia, cacosmia, phantosmia and heterosmia. In this report, the full taste sensation loss without smell loss seen in a young adult, who fell
from second floor was issued. The patient who had no taste sense for two months partially recruited spontaniously. The interesting feature of
this case is the isolated taste sense loss without olfactory findings.
