Eosinophilic granuloma is a subtype of Langerhans cell histiocytosis and a benign disease appearing with single or multiple lytic bone lesion It is most commonly seen in men in thir first decade of life, 2-3 times more commen than women. Although the main reason is not certain yet, it is thought to be developed with secondary reaction to immune deficit or inflammation or infection diseases and viral infections might trigger. It is not clear wheather trauma has a role in the development of eosinophilic granuloma. CT and MRI are the most usefull diagnostic tolls for LCH. Surgical removal, radiotheraphy, chemotheraphy and local steroid injections may be use in the management of the EG. We experienced here a case of eosinophilic granuloma in a two years old person who presented with a rapidly growing large skalp mass on the frontal area after a head injury which had happened 6 weeks ago and relationship between trauma and eosinophilic granuloma and diagnosis and treatment methods of eosinophilic granuloma are studied.
