Most of them are benign lesions. To date, many factors related to the development of meningioma have been suggested and many etiological reasons demonstrated. There are reported cases of meningiomas that developed under the craniotomy flap years after the surgery for meningioma, creating a subdural hemorrhage appearance. A meningioma developing under the burr hole defect years after surgery has not been reported before. In this report, we present a meningioma diagnosed 8 years after surgery for chronic subdural hemorrhage that settled in the center of the left frontal burr hole.
