Although its etiology is not exactly known, it is thought to originate from overproduction of myxofibrous cellular stroma. JPOF usually progresses slowly but may have a locally aggressive course. It usually originates from the maxilla, mandible, and the frontal, periorbital and ethmoid bones. Clinical symptoms may vary according to the location involved and include proptosis, visual field defects, headache and craniofacial deformities. Surgery is the only cure for this kind of lesion and total excision should be the goal. In this article, we present a rare case of juvenile psammomatous ossifying fibroma originating from the frontal sinus with extension to the orbital and intracranial compartments, together with its treatment.
