This study was planned in order to verify the effect of the bead trauma on plasma ACTH, PRL, TSH. LH and FSH values. The patients were classified according to their score calculated by Glasgow Coma Scale. Only the patients whose score was less than 9 according to Glasgow Coma Scale had a significantly lower plasma ACTH level at the end of the first six hours (p <0.05). All the other hormone values were found to be within normal limits. Anahtar Kelimeler : Anterior pituitary bormones, Glasgow Coma Scale, Head Trauma
